Research Technician I - Tollkuhn Lab
Position Description The Tollkuhn Laboratory at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory on Long Island, New York is looking to hire a Research Technician to contribute to our research program on the actions of hormones on the brain. Our lab studies how hormone receptors regulate gene expression in the brain to influence sex-variable biology, behavior, and disease risk. We work at the interface between molecular biology and neuroscience and welcome applicants with interests in gene regulation, neurodevelopment, neural circuits, and innate behaviors. The initial primary duties will involve mouse colony maintenance, husbandry, and management (including genotyping); histology, tasks such as organizing laboratory databases, samples, and supplies; and generall
