The Department of Pathology at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine seeks a full-time Molecular Pathologist to join their faculty in the Division of Genomic Pathology. The successful applicant will have demonstrated clinical expertise in molecular diagnostics including NGS platforms, cancer genomics and interpretation of molecular oncology results. There will be resources and opportunities for development and expansion of research interests within the Division, which includes Diagnostic Molecular laboratories, Cytogenetics laboratories and Bioinformatics. Coordination of research efforts across these laboratories to support oncology and other clinical groups will be essential to the success of the Division as we strive to lead the nation in the era of personalized medicine. There will also be many opportunities for mentoring and teaching medical students, residents, and fellows, as well as for service on department, school, or university committees.
This position is a non-tenure-eligible Clinician-Educator at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor. Qualified candidates will hold an MD or MD/PhD and be board certified in CP or AP/CP and board certified/eligible in molecular genetic pathology from the American Board of Pathology. The candidate must be eligible for an unrestricted medical license in the state of Illinois. Rank and remuneration determined by qualification and experience.
