Position Summary The Department Plant Soil and Microbial Sciences at Michigan State University, College of Ag and Natural Resources is seeking a Research Technician in the Douches Lab. The research in Dr. Douches lab covers a broad array of topics such as potato breeding, genetics, germplasm enhancement, genetic engineering and gene editing for pest resistance and quality traits. Dr. Douches lab also uses a wide variety of experimental approaches, including molecular biology, genomics, bioinformatics, and plant transformation/gene editing which are applied to projects related potato improvement.
