The newly established Life Molecules & Materials lab at New York University Abu Dhabi pursuing cutting edge research in the areas of self-organization and function of proteins seeks to recruit a research technician with expertise in biochemistry, molecular biology, bioinformatics, and bio-molecular phase separation.Current projects pursue: (1) Liquid-liquid phase separation and predicting phase diagrams of proteins and other biological macromolecules; (2) molecular mechanisms of synaptic plasticity and memory; and (3) engineering self-assembling protein-based materials for biotechnological and biomedical applications.
