Temporary Research Assistant
Position Summary: Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Temporary Research Assistant in the Department of Microbiology, Biochemistry, and Molecular Genetics within the New Jersey Medical School.Under direction of Dr. Jason Yang, Principal Investigator, conduct computational and systems biology analyses of host or pathogen biological networks as they pertain to infectious diseases.Among the key duties of this position are the following:Performs computational analysis including, not limited to, network modeling, next-generation sequencing analysis, bioinformatic statistical testing, machine learning and other biomedical data analyses.Assists the Principal Investigator with the preparation of grant applications
