POSITION RESPONSIBILITIESThis research program focuses on the immunogenetic, epigenetic, and environmental mechanisms underlying thyroid autoimmunity, and type 1 diabetes, and on targeting these mechanisms in order to develop novel therapies. Perform mouse experiments in which experimental autoimmune thyroid disease are induced in mouse models. Perform mouse experiments in which islet autoimmunity is induced in mouse models. Genotype mice. Maintain colonies. Back-cross mouse lines to produce new genetically modified mouse lines. Perform a moderate number of simple or moderate technical procedures; Require occasional guidance; Occasionally be responsible for ordering routine supplies;
