Bioinformatician/Research Data Analyst 1 (2 Year Fixed Term)
Situated in Stanford's highly dynamic research environment, the Kalbasi Laboratory is seeking a Computational Biologist/Bioinformatician/Research Data Analyst 1 (2 Year Fixed Term) to manage and analyze high throughput next generation sequencing data from samples acquired from cancer patients (or publicly available data), as well as data from laboratory experiments. The Kalbasi laboratory is a translational laboratory with an interest in advancing the immunotherapeutic treatment of solid tumors, with a disease emphasis on sarcoma. The lab also has vested interest in understanding the immunologic basis of response and resistance to radiation therapy, a widely used therapeutic tool in sarcoma and cancer care. Strengths of
