The Division of surgical science of Surgery at Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons is accepting applications for a Postdoctoral Research Scientist. Individual will be responsible for performance and development of a research project that focuses on cellular and molecular mechanism underlying oligomer tau protein-induced neurodegeneration relevant to basic and translational study. Our current projects include the exploration of cellular and molecular mechanisms underlying oligomer tau-mediated neuronal and mitochondrial dysfunction in human disease mouse model including Alzheimer's disease with tauopathy targeting mitochondrial import machinery. Responsibilities of the individual will include:Perform of laboratory research in the area
