We seek a postdoctoral associate to join our research efforts on evolutionary and functional genomics, and their applications in invasive species management. Candidates in related areas of biology with expertise in genome editing will be considered. The successful applicant will 1) study the genomic regulation of reproduction, development, or life history strategies in sea lamprey and zebrafish and 2) develop and evaluate the efficacy of approaches to generate genetically modified sea lamprey. The selected candidate will also publish manuscripts and assist in developing research grant proposals. This is an annual position, renewable for up to five years.

Skills or background in functional genomics and bioinformatics, experience or interest in collaborating with graduate students and postdoctoral research associates from diverse disciplines and academic backgrounds, excellent written and oral communication skills, and experience working in a diverse environment and in programs designed to promote inclusion.
