Working/Functional Title Ast/Asc Professor Tenure System Position Summary The Department of Translational Neuroscience seeks applicants for a position within its Parkinson’s disease research team. This nationally recognized team conducts clinical research and employs cellular and animal models to understand the causes, consequences, and develop potential therapeutic strategies for PD. Areas of focus include alpha-synuclein biology, neuroinflammation, levodopa-induced dyskinesias, deep brain stimulation, aging, and epigenetic contributors to degeneration. The ideal candidate will develop a distinct research program that complements existing research foci, collaborate with existing faculty to broaden Parkinson’s disease research, and enhance offerings for the ment
