Staff Research Associate, Brain Tumor Center
The Brain Tumor Center at UCSF focuses on developing new treatments for patients by studying the mechanisms through which brain tumors develop and grow. Research in the Young laboratory makes use of molecular biology, cell biology, immunology, biochemistry, mouse models of glioblastoma, genomics, bioinformatics, pharmacology, and multidisciplinary collaborations to gain new insights into the molecular determinants of human malignancies. Our team is comprised of cancer biologists, surgeons, computational scientists, and physician-scientists working together to advance understanding of cancer biology and improve patient outcomes.
