We are looking for a full-time (40hr) board certified (or eligible) genetic counselor to join our growing team of enthusiastic and engaged cancer and cardiovascular genetic counselors, genetic counseling assistants and support staff. Our genetic counselors provide services in person and via telehealth at several of the OhioHealth hospitals in central Ohio and the region.
In this position, your primary clinical focus will be hereditary cancer counseling but there will also be the opportunity to expand into other adult services (i.e. neurology, personalized medicine, etc.) as interested. Additional responsibilities include graduate student supervision, opportunities for community outreach, medical staff education, and attendance at tumor boards. You will also have the opportunity to work from home a few days each week.
We offer a competitive salary and benefits, $10,000 sign-on bonus with two year commitment, and relocation bonus if applicable. You will receive an allowance to attend a national education conference of your choosing every year and be reimbursed for costs associated with obtaining and maintaining your certification and state license.
