SCIENTIST I - INFECTIOUS DISEASES
Job Summary: The Department of Pediatrics is looking for a Scientist I to help run a vigorous and productive program in Molecular Pathogenic Mycology. The focus of the work broadly embraces the molecular and genetic mechanisms of host cell interactions with medically important Fungi. The position will require executing experiments involving gene cloning, expression and deletion, as well as biochemical analysis of such manipulations. The candidate must have sufficient knowledge and experience to conduct research at the level of an effective, efficient and highly motivated scientist. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with a team including the PI, scientists, postdocs and graduate and undergraduate students.SMPH
