Position Summary: Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Research Associate II for the Public Health Research Institute Center within the New Jersey Medical School. Under the direction of the Principal Investigator (PI), the Research Associate II will study how human fungal pathogen Cryptococcus neoformans senses inositol signal and control inositol metabolic pathways and their regulation by a protein degradation system that are important for fungal development and pathogenesis. The successful candidate is responsible to design and conduct highly specialized molecular research in the area of Cryptococcus pathogenesis under the direction of the Principal Investigator.
