Position Description:
Under the general supervision of the laboratory Principal Investigator and the Senior Associate Project Scientist, the Staff Research Associate (SRA) major functions will be to evaluate targeted nuclease-mediated genome editing in hematopoietic cells. The role will involve independent research on the use of site-specific nucleases to directly modify the human genome in hematopoietic stem cells. The SRA will also be responsible for sharing oversight of undergraduate students and other trainees.
