PNS Coordinator - Prenatal ScreeningSUMMARY: The Prenatal Screening Program (PNS) is a statewide Prenatal Program for the detection of specific birth defects. The PNS Coordinator is responsible for follow up on all cases assigned to site CCC 45 on a daily basis by the Genetic Disease Screening Program of the California Department of Public Health. Responsibilities include overseeing the daily report, communication with and reporting results to ordering clinicians, following up on referrals to assigned prenatal diagnostic centers, and entering computer data. Providing educational in-services to the public and to prenatal health care professionals is also required.
