Job Description

We are an interdisciplinary team of research biologists, medical doctors, engineers, mathematicians, and computer scientists studying kidney diseases and cancer. We combine computational biology and experimental approaches to advance precision medicine. We have created various kidney and cancer diseases models that are valuable in studying the etiology and treatment for these devastating diseases. We use in vivo, ex vivo, and in vitro methods to study the pathogenic mechanisms and treatments. We are looking for a highly motivated individual to lead research projects using omics and advanced imaging to study urogenital development, kidney diseases, and cancer.

The appointment is viewed as a training or transitional period preparatory to an academic, industrial, governmental, or other full-time research or teaching career. Used when the appointee performs specific services on a grant or contract in exchange for compensation.

Required Qualifications

Ph.D., M.D. or an equivalent terminal or doctoral degree.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge and experience in urogenital development and diseases (benign or malignant), omics, imaging, and murine models.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently to generate, analyze, and present experimental results. Experience with computer software and general lab equipment. 
• Ability to prepare manuscripts and assist with grant applications.  

Salary Range

Base pay is commensurate with experience.
