GENERAL SUMMARYThe Thakurela Laboratory at the Lurie Center for Autism (Department of Pediatrics) at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) and Harvard Medical School (HMS) focuses on investigating the effects of signaling on the TF-binding, epigenome, and the 3D-genome during neurodevelopment and neurological disorders. The Thakurela Laboratory utilizes cutting edge bulk/single-cell genomic and epigenomic technologies, such as Hi-C, ATAC-seq, ChIP-seq,RNA-seq and Whole Genome Bisulfite Sequencing(WGBS), to delineate the downstream effects of signaling variations that lead to neurological disorders.
