Research Specialist - Drosophila Genetics
The Cammarata Lab at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine is seeking a Research Specialist-Drosophila Genetics interested in using Drosophila to model human skeletal and cardiac muscle diseases. Candidates must have expertise in cell and molecular biology techniques and a background in Drosophila genetics. Responsibilities will include transgenic line production, fly husbandry, assisting in experimental design and data collection, and general laboratory maintenance. The main research fields are molecular genetics, proteomics and physiological assays in multiple models of cardiovascular diseases.Specific Duties & ResponsibilitiesResponsible for assigned research projects and fly lines.Utilize specialized k
