Scheduled Hours40Position SummaryResponsible for participating with a clinical geneticist in the delivery of genetic services.Job DescriptionPrimary Duties & ResponsibilitiesElicits individual and family histories and information regarding the psychological and socioeconomic status of the family.Reviews with the family and clinical geneticist the diagnosis, prognosis and treatment planned.Transmits pertinent information about genetic risks and mechanism.Assists the family in assimilating the genetic information and adjusting to its implications.Implements the treatment plan and makes appropriate referrals to medical, nursing, social work and psychological ser
