The Department of Pathology and Microbiology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center is seeking a Ph.D., M.D., or M.D./Ph.D. board certified cytogeneticist. Depending on experience and qualifications, the individual may serve in a directorship capacity in cytogenetics within the Nebraska Medicine Human Genetics Laboratory. The laboratory is an integral part of the molecular genetics program within the department, focused on cytogenetic and FISH analysis of hematologic malignancies and solid tumors, in addition to testing of genetic disorders. The successful candidate will have a strong record of accomplishment including scholarly activity and teaching in an academic environment.
