The School of HHS aims to inspire and equip people and transform institutions to work in ways that make the world better, safer, healthier, more humane, and just. Our School community includes a rich and unique array of nationally ranked programs including Communication Sciences and Disorders, Community and Therapeutic Recreation, Genetic Counseling, Gerontology, Human Development, and Family Studies, Kinesiology, Nutrition, Peace and Conflict Studies, Public Health Education, and Social Work. The campus is located 1 mile from the center of Greensboro, a city with a population of ~290,000.
