The Xavier Lab is seeking a Postdoctoral Research Scholar to join our Computational Systems and Biology program at Memorial Sloan Kettering. The ideal candidate has a track record of computation and experiment in systems biology. We will consider experimentalists who want to gain computational skills and computational biologists who want to gain experimental skills.
The Xavier lab is collaborative: Our team members are trained in diverse areas such as physics, cancer biology, and microbiology. Recent interests include metabolic rewiring in cancer cells, the interaction between gut microbes and colorectal cancer and the ecology of the gut microbiome. We collaborate with physician-scientists to explore the clinical translation of our basic science.

The ideal candidate should have:
A PhD (or an upcoming defense) in biological sciences or a related field such as biophysics, bioengineering, systems biology, and microbiology.
A track record of peer reviewed publications.
An interest in combining experimental and computational biology to develop an exciting, independent research project in the broad field of systems biology.
