Job Description Summary: Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory is seeking a hard working individual for the position of Cook in our General Dining & Events department. The responsibilities of this person would be to cook for events and general dining services as directed by the chefs, to assist with the supervising of the seasonal cook staff, and to maintain a sanitary environment.Responsibilities will include:- Assist the sous chef with preparing hot and cold food for breakfast and lunch including eggs, pancakes, salads, sandwiches, and soup.- Take inventory and restock products.- Maintain cooking equipment and a sanitary work environment.- Troubleshoot and conduct minor repairs on the kitchen and coffee equipment.- Consistently provide
