The Integrative Mental Health Lab (IMHL) at Stanford University is hiring for 1-2 postdoc positions, beginning as early as January 2023. We seek motivated individuals, ideally with strong computational backgrounds (e.g. mathematics, statistics, computer programing), and with a preference for individuals that have previously worked with GWAS, RNAseq, and/or WGS data. With multiple federally funded projects in the lab, the ideal candidate will be able to lead genomic analyses focused on psychiatric disorders (especially cross-ancestry, cross-disorder analyses), women’s health, and/or sex chromosomes. We also have funded projects that leverage genomic insights about psychiatric disorders to study top targets in human postmortem tissue. Postdoc/trainee-led projects are also encouraged, and there are ample opportunities for growth in the lab for faculty-level positions, and support for multiple career trajectories.
