Assistant Professor of Nematology
The University of California, Riverside, invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Plant Nematology to begin July 1, 2023. The position is a 9-month appointment in the Department of Nematology in the College of Natural and Agricultural Sciences. Appointment level and salary are commensurate with experience. The successful candidate is expected to establish an internationally recognized, externally funded research program. The focus will be on investigations of microbial interactions with plant-parasitic nematodes that suppress plant diseases and crop damage (e.g., nematode-suppressive soils; hyperparasites of endoparasitic nematodes).
