Position SummaryThe Cell Signaling and Tumorigenesis laboratory at the Hormel Institute, University of Minnesota, is seeking a talented and motivated postdoctoral fellow with a track record in cancer biology or genetics. We are investigating the mechanisms of tumorigeneses in glioma and the mechanisms of melanoma brain metastasis. We are primarily interested in candidates committed to asking fundamentally essential questions and fearless in trying novel approaches. Qualified candidates should be familiar with the basic tenets of genetics, epigenetics, and cancer biology, PDX, and transgenic mouse models. Candidates with a background in Molecular Genomics (ChIP-seq, RNA-seq, ATAC-seq) are particularly encouraged. The pay scale follows NIH guidelines.
