Job Description Summary: Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory Facilities department is currently seeking a Groundskeeper. The ideal candidate will be responsible for general grounds maintenance and landscape construction. Use of customary tools and operation of machine equipment is required.Other responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Mowing, weeding and maintaining the lawn- Trimming and maintaining shrubs, hedges and trees- Removing snow and ice from roads and walkways- Operating landscaping machinery- Planting trees, garden beds and shrubbery.Essential Duties Summary: Experience/Skills: A high school diploma or equivalent experience and a clean driver's license are required.
