The DFCI is seeking an accomplished scientist to fill the role of Director of the new Center for Patient Derived Models (CPDM). The primary goal both for this individual and for this collaborative Center will be to work with investigators at the DFCI to launch projects focused on the creation, characterization, and scientific study of human patient cancer models of all types (cell lines, xenografts, acute functional precision medicine assays). The Center is a collaborative resource that supports investigators who wish to contract with the CPDM to create models from patient samples and the Director will be responsible for coordinating operations to achieve these projects in collaboration with investigators and their staff.
