The Department of Oral Biology, invites applications for a Postdoctoral Fellow position in the areas of stem/progenitor cell and developmental biology. We are looking for a highly motivated candidate with a firm background in stem cell and/or developmental biology to work on an NIH-funded project. Candidates with dual degrees (e.g. DDS/PhD, DMD/PhD, MD/PhD) are encouraged to apply. Experience with epigenetics, mouse models, induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs), and bioinformatics is a plus.
The candidate is expected to develop a research project aimed at defining gene regulatory networks that control progenitor cell identity in early respiratory development.

Minimum Qualifications:
PhD, DDS/PhD, DMD/PhD, MD/PhD
Wet-lab experience
Mouse work experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with cell culture
Experience with pluripotent stem cells
Mouse-based loss-of-function studies
Bioinformatic skills, especially analysis of single-cell datasets
