Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey.
A postdoc position is available for a highly motivated and independent candidate in the group of Subhajyoti De at Rutgers University Cancer Institute in NJ, USA.
The postdoctoral fellow in the group of Dr. De will be involved in cancer research at Rutgers, and in this role will advance knowledge for better diagnosis, stratification, and treatment of cancer. Dr. De's group has particular interest in cancer evolution, cancer progression, and treatment, and the candidate is expected to contribute in one or more of these areas. There will be opportunities to work in an interdisciplinary team both in clinical and research settings on a variety of high impact, cutting edge projects. The candidate should have a PhD in a relevant science. Preferred: PhD in biology, biotechnology, pharmacology, computational, statistical or mathematical sciences. Among the key duties of this position are the following:
Perform research for better diagnosis, stratification, and treatment of cancer in the settings of basic and translational research.
Write publications and reports of the research.
Gives oral presentations of the research at seminars and meetings.
Minimum Education and Experience:
PhD in a relevant science. Preferred: PhD in biology, biotechnology, pharmacology, computational, statistical, mathematical sciences, or related areas.
