Its main research areas include: - Metabolic interactions between the tumor and the rest of the body, focusing on how the body supports tumor growth and metastasis, and how tumors induce cachexia and other microenvironmental changes. - Interplay between host metabolism, gut microbiome, and anti-cancer immune response. - Diet-induced tumor microenvironment changes during cancer progress
