Job Summary

Our laboratory is seeking motivated postdoctoral fellows to work on developing novel modalities for therapeutic targeting of human cancer.  We use chemical, cellular and omics approaches for understanding advanced, therapy-resistant cancer and for developing novel therapeutic approaches. We have a special focus on transcription factors (MYC, AR), epigenetic regulators (DOT1L), as well as prostate cancer. A Ph.D. in cell biology, chemical biology, biochemistry or genetics is preferred. Experience in bioinformatics analysis is advantageous.

Specific Responsibilities

• Conducting experiments – wet lab or dry lab
• Analysis and documentation of data
• Data presentation, writing grants
• Training students, fellows in area of expertise/instrumentation

Minimum Qualifications:  

• PhD in biomedical science2

Minimum Competencies:

• Cell biology including mammalian cell culture, transfection, PCR, qPCR, western blotting

Preferred Qualifications:

• Ph.D. in cell biology, chemical biology, biochemistry or genetics

Preferred Competencies:

• Bioinformatics analysis
