Our lab is interested in genetic studies of autoimmune diseases, especially systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). We are currently interested in functional characterizations of genetic variants associated with SLE and other autoimmune diseases, using both genomic, bioinformatic dry lab approaches and wet lab experiments such as massively parallel reporter assays and perturb-seq (see https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/33536424/, https://paed.hku.hk/menu/staff/wanlingyang/wanlingyang.html; wyanglab.org).
