Postodctoral Scholar, Division of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (HIV and COVID-19)
Position Description The Patel Research Group at the University of Washington (UW) is seeking to hire a post-doctoral fellow to collaborate on the Group's work with the National COVID Cohort Collaborative (N3C). The Group has been funded by the National Institutes of Health to undertake research at the intersections of HIV, COVID-19, and social determinants of health (SDoH) while centering on health equity. N3C is the largest electronic health record (EHR) data repository in U.S. history and contains both unparalleled individual-level granular clinical and area-level data, including the largest U.S. cohort of people living with HIV and COVID-19 outcomes data (>77K). The planned work will utilize real-world, nationally-sampled data, combining machine learning
