School: Faculty of Arts and SciencesDepartment/Area: Molecular and Cellular BiologyPosition Description: The Whipple lab investigates the causes and consequences of genomic imprinting in the brain using mouse models and in vitro neuron differentiation systems. There are open opportunities to work in project areas related to (i) mechanisms controlling imprinted gene expression, (ii) neuronal functions of imprinted non-coding RNAs, and (iii) new therapeutic opportunities for imprinted disorders.
