Associate Research Scientist
The Department of Pediatrics, division of Molecular Genetics is seeking to hire an Associate Research Scientist to join the Laboratory of Dr. Wendy Chung. The successful candidate will be allow to have an immediate participation in the conduct of research projects on cardiomyopathy and breast cancer. The candidate will be working on projects with Drs. Wendy Chung and Yufeng Shen analyzing large-scale genome and exome sequence data, interpret genetic variants, identify novel human disease genes and translate these discoveries into clinical care. The candidate will also work on developing new computational methods to improve prediction of pathogenicity of genetic variants.  Experience in molecular biological techniques such as genotyping, sequencing, sequence data analyses, real time PCR,
