Description: The Department of Computer Science at Baylor University seeks qualified candidates for a lecturer position. Successful candidates will have at least a master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, a commitment to excellence in teaching, and effective communication and organization skills. Selected candidates will be expected to teach a variety of classes in computing and fully engage in departmental programs.
The Department: Computer Science is one of three departments in the School of Engineering and Computer Science. It offers an ABET-accredited B.S. in Computer Science, a B.A. with a major in Computer Science, a B.S. in Informatics with a major in Bioinformatics or Data Science, a B.S. in Computing with a major in Computer Science Fellows, and M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Computer Science. The Department has 18 full-time faculty, over 350 undergraduate majors, and 30 graduate students. The Department's greatest strength is dedication of the faculty members to the success of the students and each other. Qualifications: The successful candidate will hold a minimum MS degree (or higher) in Computer Science, or closely related field.
