Join Women’s Institute at the Cabarrus office in Concord, NC and provide preconception and prenatal Genetic Counseling services with support from a multidisciplinary team. Opportunities for professional growth and Genetic Counseling student supervision. Some travel to other local Women’s Institute office(s). Option to work four 10-hour days. Eligibility for full benefits, including healthcare, 401K with matching, and paid time off.  Travel/CEU allowance, paid professional memberships, and tuition benefit provided. Relocation is negotiable. Successful candidates should be eager to learn, flexible, able to work well independently and with a team, and have excellent organization and communication skills.

Women’s Institute has a team of 8 MFMs and 5 Genetic Counselors providing patient care services in 3 locations in the Charlotte area. Collaborate with Pediatric/Adult and Cancer/Hematology Genetic Counselors and Geneticists at local facilities through the healthcare system. Master of Science in Genetic Counseling or related field required. One or more years’ experience as a Genetic Counselor preferred, however, recent graduates are encouraged to apply. Board Certification or Eligibility as a Genetic Counselor by the American Board of Genetic Counseling is required.
