Position Summary:The Kiledjian laboratory at Rutgers University is seeking outstanding postdoctoral research associates to study the regulation of RNA turnover in the control of gene expression. The laboratory is interested in understanding the molecular mechanism by which 5´ end cap epitranscriptomic modifications such as a nicotinamide adenine diphosphate (NAD) cap (see Jiao et al., 2017 Cell) or m6Am cap (see Mauer et al., 2017 Nature) regulate RNA levels and gene expression. Other areas of investigation include the role of decapping proteins in human cognitive disability.
