Postdoctoral Scholar in Microbial Food SafetyA postdoctoral research scholar position is available in Dr. Luxin Wang's microbial food safety lab in the Department of Food Science and Technology at the University of California Davis. The primary responsibility of this position is to conduct studies to improve the microbial safety of food by characterizing and modeling the survival and inactivation kinetics of foodborne pathogens. In addition, the impact of thermal and non-thermal treatments on the microbial populations present in food systems will be studied using sequencing technologies.
