Job DescriptionPosition SummaryA postdoctoral position is available immediately for applicants interested in advancing research in ion channel structure, function, and role in cardiac physiology and neuroscience. The goals of this project are to understand gating mechanisms of ion channels in response to physical (electric, mechanical, ultrasonic) and chemical stimuli, identify and develop ion channel modulators, and explore how changes in ion channel function cause or treat cardiac and neurological disorders. Project work will involve collaborations with U.S. and international teams of scientists, engineers, and clinicians.
