Research Associate in the Division of Science (Biology) - Dr. Stephane Boissinot
The Evolutionary Genomics laboratory in the Division of Science, New York University Abu Dhabi, seeks to recruit a Research Associate to work on the mechanisms underlying adaptation to extreme environment in vertebrates.The successful applicant will drive a fascinating project on the genomic of adaptation to extreme environment in vertebrates. The research project will combine niche modeling, comparative genomics and population genetics. The focal taxa are frogs from the Ethiopian highlands and desert adapted reptiles. The candidate will work in a multidisciplinary environment consisting of PhD-level scientists, graduate students and undergraduate students.Applicants must have a PhD in cell and molecular biology or related field.
