Position Summary A Research Associate (post-doc) position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Tommy Vo in the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at Michigan State University, East Lansing campus. The position is available immediately and is initially for one year with the possibility of extension depending on satisfactory performance and the availability of funding. This research position is to study the regulation of epigenetic histone modifications during development and stress response. Available projects in the lab will employ genetic, genomic, molecular, and biochemical approaches to understand the mechanistic role of transcription machinery in specifying and modulating histone modifications in the fission yeast, Schizosaccharomyces pombe.
