Job Summary:
The University of Kentucky Markey Cancer Centerinvites applications from outstanding candidates for one tenure-track faculty position at a to be determined (based upon applicant qualifications) OPEN rank (Asst,Assoc,FullProfessor) positionto participate in new and expanding efforts in clinical cancer research.
Expertise is sought in clinical trials research. Candidates that have experience serving as faculty at NCI-designated comprehensive cancer centers and/or specific experience in cancer clinical trials in industry (either Pharma or CRO based) are particularly encouraged to apply.
The successful candidate must have a Ph.D. or DrPH degree with experience in cancer clinical trials design and implementation of statistical activities during trial conduct. Peer-reviewed abstracts and/or publications predominantly of a collaborative(co-authorship) nature will be expected in addition to development of a biostatistical leadership role in oversight and management of a portfolio of cancer clinical trials. Experience with biomarker analyses will be considered a plus.
