Genetic Counselor - Cancer
The Center for Medical Genomics is currently recruiting for a Full-time Cancer Genetic Counselor to join our team! The Genetic Counselor will be responsible for conducting intake screening and risk assessment, explaining the nature and scope of testing procedures, and following up with results. In addition, the counselor will have opportunities to teach and supervise residents, fellows, undergraduate students and graduate genetic counseling students. The genetic counselors will also provide educational lectures to professionals as well as participate in community outreach. Educational enrichment is integral to the position with participation in journal clubs, and case conferences.
