Bioinformatics Programmer
Working as part of a multidisciplinary group, and independently, the Bioinformatics Programmer will perform statistical analyses of high throughput genomics data, especially bulk-cell and single-cell RNA-sequencing data, by developing novel, or adapting and using existing computational pipelines and algorithms. S/he will write code to process genomic data sets, generate reports, and present the results to collaborators. Working independently, s/he will work from standard analysis pipelines and modify code to fit individual projects. S/he will interact closely with core lab members and collaborate with other biostatisticians doing similar work at UCSF and elsewhere.
