Genomics Scientist
The Staff Research Associate 2 (SRA 2) will perform, under supervision, state of the art next generation sequencing approaches such as RNA-seq and single cell RNA-seq. The individual will work under general supervision and utilize problem solving skills to execute experimental methods. The SRA 2 use various protocols to generate DNA and RNA sequencing libraries. S/he will interact closely with other laboratory members and will be responsible for meticulous handling and processing of research and clinical samples. Responsibilities will include both manual and automated preparation of sequencing library methods for model organisms and clinical samples, and pre-processing and basic analysis of next generation sequencing data.The incumbent will also aid in new and ongoin
