Research Assistant I- Alt Lab
A molecular genetics and immunology laboratory is seeking a highly motivated individual for a research technician position. The lab is focused on studying the molecular mechanisms involved in V(D)J recombination, Class switch recombination and somatic hypermutation in developing and/or activated B lymphocytes, as well as using knowledge gained from these studies for developing mouse models to test HIV1, and other types of, vaccine development. Research technicians will perform a wide range of molecular biology, cell culture, immunological, and possibly animal-based techniques.
