Applicants should provide a Curriculum Vitae, academic transcripts (if graduated within the last 5 years), and at least two letters of reference to: Elizabeth Speliotes M.D., Ph.D., M.P.H.The Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Gastroenterology, invites applications for a Research Area Specialist to work on cellular and mouse models of nonalcoholic fatty liver disease. Work will involve using CRISPR/Cas9 methods to knockout and overexpressing genes in liver cell lines and determine their effects on lipid accumulation, VLDL export, beta oxidation or other cellular processes. They will also carry out genome wide CRISPR/Cas9 screens to identify genes involved in lipid accumulation in liver cells. Images will be captured and processed in Cell Prof
